Background on 12v electrical systems
Studied and worked on cars for 8+ years while generally focusing on electrical troubleshooting and repairing. I then moved onto becoming a residential electrician for 4-5 years while also building and programming Lutron Homework smart lighting systems.
I decided then to work in a place were I can repair both systems (AC and DC) that work together harmonically. I’ve always had a passion for electrical systems and troubleshooting problems within them. Moving this direction not only allowed me to use my full range of knowledge but also allows me to help in a field where where there is a general lacking of experienced tradesmen.
There is not many people have my amount of hands on experience with 12 volt through 240 volt in AC and DC systems in Santa Barbara. That is most likely why you found this page to begin with.
Not only have I been an ASE Master Mechanic, a residential Journeyman electrician, an ABYC certified marine electrician, I carry an active membership with ABYC who set the safety standards.
I’ve also extended my education even further with being a 12 volt system electrician through books and places like Victron Energy, Pico Technology, ACDelco, American Boat & Yacht Council and more.
